Why choose or change to OLSON cool blocks?
Metal guide blocks create metal to metal contact, causing heat, friction, premature blade wear and can lead to breakage. Imitation plastic guides melt and offer no lubrication.
Cool Blocks are made of laminated Graphite Impregnated Phenolic which is a non-metallic composite material that has three synthetic dry lubricants.
Cool Blocks lubricate the blade allowing it to run cooler and last longer with less friction.
